Happy anniversary to me!
Moved to LA four years ago today, as a Christmas gift to myself. The jury is still out as to whether or not that was the best or worst gift I’ve given. :/ I love/hate you LA. Happy anniversary!

I’m going to spend the holiday season somewhere foreign away from family obligations and familiar things. All by myself (or with a real treasured special someone) and my pets. It’s on my bucket list. :)

Sometimes I feel like getting back into the music business. I miss the excitement I used to have with every show. Those were great fun times. Enjoying the music with good friends, that’s what it was about. Meeting interesting people. Getting to know the bands behind the music. It was great. Somewhere along the way I lost that passion, became jaded (I blame that to moving to LA. Lots of jaded...

I forget how much I love these guys until a song of theirs shows up on my shuffle mix. They were very present during my time in Chicago. Hearing a song of theirs instantly takes me back to those times. Such great fun times. ♥ They’re super nice sweet guys too. Good people. They don’t shy away from guyliner either. ;)

semester is over
Thankfully! But now I have to hustle to find a registered veterinary technician program that fits both my financial abilities and is close enough (I’m still without a car). Gah. It’s stressful to say the least.
Oh and did I mention I still need a job. Ending the year in need. 2011 can only get better, right?
